A Lost Life On The Runway Projects In One Tree Hill
Lost Life:
I didn't love this episode, until right at the end. Yes, baby Aaron! Stolen babies! +7 for baby Aaron.
Locke has official gone over to the dark side. -5 to Locke the tyrant.
The funniest storyline was Hurley and Sawyer as roommates. +1 to each. Hurley earned an additional +1 for asking if he got "Scooby-Dooed".
Overall, Ben is awesome. +1 for mind-fucking Locke, and another +1 for his overall demeanor.
Project Runway Life:
Kristin and I finally started in on this season of Project Runway, and it's everything we hoped for, so far. My initial favorite character is Christian Siriano (+6) and Tim Gunn (+5) is awesome, as usual. Heidi notched +2, Michael Kors +1, and Nina Garcia +1.
One Tree Hill Life:
Season 4, Episodes 6-10 were not as exciting as the first 10. It ended the Peyton/stalker storyline in a way over the top episode, then started two more plotlines that aren't that great: Nathan as a sympathetic point-shaver and Peyton's bully Marine brother. A few point-scoring opportunities, though: Lucas figures the point-shaving stuff out first, of course, +3, Nathan -3, because it's his fault there's so much Duke talk in the series, Skills +1 for his advice to Mouth +1, and Derek (Ernest Waddell) the brother +3 for making a lot of sense.
Basketball Life:
Carolina had a much needed convincing win over NC State, led by Tyler Hansbrough (+1 for spin-move and dunk, and +3 for overall beast performance) and Quentin Thomas (+1 for unnecessary spin move and +2 more for overall game).
Shaq's debut with the Suns vs. the Lakers definitely lived up to the hype, and Shaq was in the thick of things. He earned on overall +6 for: catching a nasty oop from Nash, sprinting for no good reason to the other end of the court following a goal tend call on his shot by Kobe, and then this Eat Your Breakfast moment:
The game of the night Wednesday, though, was G-State vs. Boston. Without Captain Jack, the Warriors still managed to comeback in the 2nd half, and then win it on this beautiful Boom Dizzle (+5) moment:
Monta Ellis -- +3 for his performance in that one.
Manu Ginobili 44 points and a game-winner vs. Minnesota? Damn. +3.
I heart Travis Outlaw. Still. It was Christmas Time vs. Seattle, Thursday. +2. Let the young man take over, Nate McMillan!
Inside The NBA was great, as usual, and even better with my man David Aldridge in the house. +3 to him, Ernie, Kenny and Charles.
Miscellaneous Life:
50 Cent is back on this grind. With the unleashing of thisis50.com, he's really trying to get into the internet age. He dropped a G-Unit mixtape, Return Of The Bodysnatchers, which is the best stuff I've heard from them in awhile. 50 Cent +5, Lloyd Banks +3, Tony Yayo +1, DJ Whoo Kid +1.
TJITH Oscars episode: Entertaining as usual. +2 for each Jack (Scott Huff and Joe Stapleton).
T.I. -- +2 for "Bother Me" -- a great Friday joint.
Hillary Clinton -- +2 for a gracious, unifying ending to last night's debate.
And the Foster Farms Chickens +2 each!
