Life On One Tree Hill
I received Season 4 Disc 1 from Netflix on Wednesday, and then knocked out all 5 episodes Thursday morning. I forgotten how completely awesome this show is.
Episode #1 picks right up with supreme drama, as Rachel and Cooper are drowning in a river. Both Nathan and Lucas end up having to jump in to save them, but it's Lucas' (Chad Michael Murray) melodramatic demeanor that earn him +3.
Later Mouth drops a little knowledge, +1, and Skills manages to hand out more dap than humanly possible, given his limited screen time, +1.
Episode #2 -- Skills: "It's ya boy Skills", +2, Whitey, the coach, +1.
Episode #3 -- Brooke goes on a Team Brooke rant, +1. Whitey +1, and Skills +1 for his play in his Ravens debut.
Episode #4 -- Skills: "You can't hide from life, dawg. Eventually you gotta live it." +1.
Episode #5 -- Peyton, the budding music impresario, secures a live performance from Lupe Fiasco, at the Tree Hill Club. +1 to each. Lucas is there to support his best friend Hailey, +1.
I gotta give +3 to Deb Lee/Scott, for her overall junkie-ness and madness, on display throughout these episodes.
Sports Coverage:
On Thursday, Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon were extra feisty on PTI, +2 each.
Friday on PTI, Kornheiser "popped his sweater" to celebrat something... ha. +1.
Kenny Smith gets +5 for his charity work highlighted on Thurday's Inside The NBA. The whole threesome (Jet, EJ, Chuck), earn +3 each for their usual antics, and Chuck gets an extra +3 for joking Reggie's shirt, asking "when are you going to give that back to Cheryl (his sister)?". Ha.
Michael Jordan, +4, for his ESPN the Mag cover:

Kanye:
+6 to Mr. West's much ballyhooed Flashing lights video, seen below. Rumor has it, that it may be inspired by scenes from the James Bond movie, Diamonds Are Forever. +4 to the mode featured, Rita G.
Lost Life:
A Sayid-centric episode! Yes! The Sayid run down: +1 for the opening praying scened. However, is this the first time he's been shown praying? Seems like that should've happened before, if he is a devout Muslim. +1 for his golfing skill, + 1 for looking slick in Germany, and +1 for his "diplomacy" quote.
The rest:
Sawyer +1, for calling someone "gizmo", and +1 when he said to Kate, who asked if she was a prisoner, "If that's the sorta thing you like".
Hurley started off well, earning +1 for his babbling, but when it turned out to be an acting job, and he was setting up his friends, that's -5.
Finally, the ultimate gangsta, Ben, +1 when he says: "No use having friends you can't trust", and +3 for being straight gangsta at the end.
