Thugnificent!

I watched another great Boondocks episode yesterday:  The Story Of Thugnificent.  You just mad at all this Thugnificence!  Straight comedy.  Granddad in a rap beef?  Thugnificent's crew members named Macktastic (played by Snoop, +1) and Flonominal (played by Busta Rhymes, +2)?  The story is framed as a Sway (+2) new report, and it is awesome.  The highlight is probably the dis song against Granddad, "Eff Granddad":

Nate Dogg (+3) on the hook!  The rest of the points from the episode:  Aaron McGruder +6, Regina King as Riley +4, Cedric Yarbrough as Tom Dubois +1, Xzibit's guest appearance +1, Carl Jones as Thugnificent +2, and John Witherspoon as Granddad +2.

You're just made 'cause your ass is old!

Playoff Football:

Even though they lost, Reggie Wayne +3 for that TD he scored.  That's effort.  And again, even though they lost, I thought the Colts were going to win after a late 4th down conversion on a pass from Peyton to Dallas Clark.  +2 to both.  Marlon McCree really ended it though, when he laid the smack down on Wayne on a pass down the middle.  BOOM SHAKA LAKA!!! +3.

Vintage Brett Favre, +4:

Movie time:

I watched a couple movies on Saturday.  The first was Pan's Labyrinth.  I give it a 7 out of 10.  I really liked it but I can't take some of the cringe-worthy violence included.  Director Guillermo del Toro, +3, Ivana Baquero as Ofelia, +5 and Maribel Verdu as Mercedes, +2.

Then it was Children Of Men, also a 7 out of 10.  I liked the story and the scenario, but didn't necessarily like the ending.  And why was the dred-locked white guy so pissed?  My mans and them was Clive Owen's boy, Jasper Palmer.  +5 to Michael Caine for that performance.  +3 to director Alfonso Cuaron.

Miscellanea:

The hot b-day edition Lebron V's earns him +6.

Jon Stewart funny as hell on "A Daily Show" with Lou Dobbs as guest, +3.

Bush for claiming he always has emphasized diplomacy, -3.
